Dear Parent/Carer
Have you heard about Parent Carers Together (PCT)? This is a forum of parents and carers whose children/young people have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND, with or without formal diagnosis) and live in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole.
The forum was formed in 2019 to sign post BCP parents and carers to services and to gather information about local SEND related services. The forum work in partnership with commissioners by ensuring parent views and any recurring themes are included when services are being redesigned or developed.
PCT want to reach as many BCP parents and carers whose children have SEND as possible to ensure services are relevant to them and reflect their views and needs. The more parents and carers feedback to PCT via surveys, comment on socials, chat at face to face events, the more they can help or influence change.
You can contact PCT either for more information, to volunteer or to seek help. The PCT want to hear from you.

Dear Parent/Carer,
Please note that this information is for the parents/carers of pupils who are based at our main site, Kinson and Magna sites:
I refer to our recent message advising that the menu for the Summer Term 2 2025 is now available on ParentPay for you to order your child's meals for Summer Term 2.
We are aware that some parents/carers have had issues when trying to place orders. In this respect, we would advise that a change has been made to the ParentPay system and you must now select the meal choice and the dessert to move forwards to the next stage and to complete your order.
Bookings must be made by Friday 30 May 2025 for meals for the first week back following the May half term break.
Should you require any support to order meals, please do not hesitate to contact Kayleigh Francis by email: [email protected].

Dear Parent/Carer,
Please can I remind all parents and carers that we are a 'Nut Free School'.
Unfortunately, there has been a recent issue with pupils coming to school with products stating 'may contain nuts'; these items cannot be brought into school.
We have a number of children with allergies who we need to ensure we are keeping safe.
Many thanks for your support.

Dear Parent/Carer,
Throughout the school year, we hold "Drop Days" on certain dates.
These days are also known as ‘off-timetable’ days and replace our structured classroom lessons with activities used to strengthen the practical application of skills and provide a deeper learning experience.
On Wednesday 21 May 2025, we will be holding a "Drop Day" titled Diversity Day.
During the day we will be learning about what makes us unique. We will also look at some famous adults with SEN, their skills and any barriers they have overcome.

Geoff Cherrill
